Labour Digitalisation and Older Workers in the Gig Economy: Challenges and Potentials for Collective Bargaining and Social Dialogue

At the GDPoweR Conference in Warsaw (10–12 September 2025), Aleksandar Kovačević presented his paper Labour Digitalisation and Older Workers in the Gig Economy: Challenges and Potentials for Collective Bargaining and Social Dialogue. His contribution highlighted the overlooked position of older workers on digital platforms and sparked strong interest from participants. The discussion underscored the absence of systematic data in Serbia and the need for further research on age, skills, and platform work. The presentation increased his visibility within the European research community and facilitated new contacts from France, Austria, Poland, and Spain, supporting future collaborations and COST Action engagement.
